Destination Sydney brings together three Sydney public galleries - Manly Art Gallery, Mosman Art Gallery and S.H Ervin Gallery, all connected by Sydney harbour, in an exciting and innovative collaboration to present an exhibition of work responding to Sydney as a point of focus and convergence for many artists born in other parts of Australia.
The work of Lloyd Rees, Brett Whiteley and Elisabeth Cummings will be displayed at Manly Art Gallery and Museum, with John Olsen, Kevin Connor and Peter Kingston at Mosman Art Gallery and Margaret Preston, Grace Cossington Smith and Cressida Campbell featured at S.H.Ervin Gallery. With over 130 works across three Sydney venues by nine iconic artists this exhibition is a major event.
