The Royal Hotel at Hill End is a unique place to visit for an historical experience. Built in 1872, the hotel is heritage listed and offers a rustic charm for all ages to enjoy. All roads into town are now sealed and provide easy access for all vehicles. Situated on three acres of lush grounds, the hotel has a plethora of trees and lawn, as well as a tranquil beer garden located out the back. A fully equipped bistro operates seven days a week providing a la carte lunches and dinners. There is accommodation for 22 people available in various configurations, family rooms, doubles, twins or singles. A pool room with a log fire, pool table, juke box, darts and TV is available to all and children are welcome in this area of the hotel.

Hill End B and B is the only bed and breakfast in town. Now located at Hill End Estate, it is nestled on the edge of this historic gold mining town, 75 metres stroll down Beyer's Ave to pub and general store. The B and B has been relocated after 13 years in a NPWS building. (Hosies) A queen with en suite, television, use of a shared lounge and dining room with television, open fireplace, veranda overlooking berry farm, gardens, and Beyer's Avenue Heritage Trees (ramp to single story veranda, for partially disabled guests). A full, hot gourmet breakfast is included in the tariff. Alpacas, chooks, and geese roam the property for your enjoyment. Gold panning, fossicking, bird watching, wildlife viewing, and four wheel driving are a must while visiting the area. A historic 1870s wattle and daub building will be restored in 2015 to accommodate a family of four.
