At the heart of the spectacular Mornington Peninsula is Lindenderry Red Hill, a boutique hotel that is leading the way as Australia's preeminent destination for luxury accommodation and award winning food and wine. With top ten rankings in the 2015 Luxury Travel Gold List Awards for Best Australian Boutique Hotel, Best Australia Property within Driving Distance of a Capital City, Australia’s most Romantic Property and Best Australian Food and Wine Experience Property With Accommodation, Lindenderry has been proving itself as a must-see on the Mornington Peninsula.

Fuelling this direction is a newly appointed team with an incredibly impressive Food & Beverage background and our winery which, after recently receiving another 5 stars from James Halliday, is helping to solidify Lindenderry as the premier destination for luxury seekers in Australia.

The recently refurbished 40 individually decorated accommodation rooms feature flat screen televisions, complimentary Wi-Fi and lounge areas, spa baths and traditional fire places in the balcony suites. Linden Tree offers diners an intimate setting, surrounded by tall trees with magnificent views out onto the Lindenderry Estate vineyards and rolling hills of Red Hill. In contrast the opposing view looks out to French Doors which open to a flower filled courtyard; a scene reminiscent of Italian Piazzas where al fresco dining is a highlight of any traveller’s tale. Linden Tree boasts an innovative seasonal A la Carte menu, focusing on local produce that is accompanied by a range of award winning local and international estate wines.

We have also recently added a more casual aspect to Lindenderry dining with the introduction of an alfresco pizza oven and hot grill to the Cellar Door. The Cellar Door offers dishes that encourage a relaxed social experience, perfect for sharing over a glass of local beer or our award winning wines.

If you desire a distinct experience for your wedding, one where nature blends with modern style, Lindenderry is an ideal choice. Main Ridge Estate

80 William Road, Red Hill South VIC 3937

Main Ridge Estate is the Mornington Peninsula’s original commercial winery, established in 1975. The 3 hectare cool climate vineyard of 40 year old vines is situated on gentle north facing slopes of rich volcanic soil. It is perfect for high quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay viticulture and wine production.

In December 2015, local winemaking pioneers Nat and Rosalie White passed ownership of the property to the Sexton family. The Sextons live on site and continue the Main Ridge Estate tradition of friendly personal service every day in the cellar door. Nat White remains involved as a consultant and mentor to new winemaker James Sexton.

The Main Ridge Estate winemaking philosophies have also been maintained: wines are grown and made entirely on the Estate, yields are held to very low levels to optimise quality, and exacting winemaking techniques are used to ensure fault free and complex wines which express the characteristics of the site, and the Mornington Peninsula region.

The cellar door and sundeck overlook the vineyards and extensive gardens. Light lunches are available during Summer and select weekends, featuring seasonal ingredients from local suppliers. We also present regular intimate concerts and wine dinners in the cellar door.

Our Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Merlot can be purchased at the cellar door, through our online shop or by calling or emailing direct. Main Ridge Estate wine is stocked by leading restaurants and wine stores.
