Seal Rocks is an idyllic fishing village located on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales. A short 1½ hour drive from Newcastle and just 3 hours from Sydney.

Our Holiday Park is situated right on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. Walk across the road and enjoy the spectacular Number One Beach, a short walk to Boat Beach and a quick drive to Lighthouse Beach, Treachery and Yagon Beaches.

Seal Rocks is a sleepy little isolated beach town about 300 km north of Sydney. Its famous largely for its beautiful lighthouse and the sense of isolation it enjoys. A small road separates the town from the main road (Lakes Way) and has kept development at bay. The 130 locals are very happy that the town has avoided excessive development. Seals is surrounded by national parks and pristine beaches located minutes from Myall Lakes and Smith Lakes. The town is 40km from the the Pacific Highway to the west, just after Bulahdelah, and 44km from Foster-Tuncurry to the north.

There is plenty to do with some very real attractions: unspoilt surfing beaches, noted divings spots, the nearby Myall Lakes National Park and, most notably, the spectacularly beautiful Seal Rocks lighthouse - officially known as Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse - which overlooks an unspoilt beach and the group of offshore rocky outcrops which gives the area its name.

No.1 Beach is found when you first enter seal rocks and is situated directly across from the Seal Rocks Holiday Park. The beach, views and water is beautiful. No.1 Beach faces north, providing sweeping views back towards Pacific Palms and offering protected swimming. It is also a good surf beach with a rocky headland walk. At times weed can appear on the beach with rough seas, at this time Boat Beach, Lighthouse Beach and Treachery Beach are an alternative....

Boat beach is the next beach past Seal Rocks No.1 Beach It is framed by headlands, spectacular rocky outcrops and a steep house peppered mainland. The beach here is nearly always quite flat and suitable for families. Snorkelling is good along the rocks and the island off shore called Statis Rock. It is also a haven for divers. When you are there check out the huge shells for sale by the local fishermen and take the gravel road straight up to Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse....

Surrounded by Myall Lakes National Park, Treachery Camp offers its guests an unspoilt coastal retreat just to the south of Seal Rocks. Camping, cabins and lodge accommodation are available. If camping, there are no allocated sites. There is a modern amenities block with hot showers and flushing toilets, as well as a large camp kitchen containing two gas barbecues and large tables. Several cabins types are available, sleeping from four to eight guests and each with a full kitchen. Please refer to the website for details of each cabin type.
