The Barossa Valley Golf Club is a 6026 metre par 72 course with an ACR rating of 70.8 and the tees are generous and well made. The fairways seem generous but the rough can be punishing and some well-placed bunkers guard the fairways and greens. Players have use of the practice tee, fairway, large putting green, practice bunker and chipping green. Because of its delightful bush country setting, this spacious golf course can give a feeling of truly 'being away from it all'. Just to walk the course is a delight with a chance to see much of the local bird and animal life.
