Barney Creek Vineyard Cottages offer bed and breakfast accommodation in the Mount Barney region, an area of stunning mountain scenery. The Lakeside Bungalow and Hill Station are designed specifically for couples with a decor and attention to detail not often found. The Bungalow sits on the edge of a small lake in a world of its own. The Hill Station commands a ridge-top position with 360 degree views of the mountains of the Scenic Rim. Both are self contained with all modern conveniences but with an ambience that has to be experienced.

The three bedroom Garden Cottage offers a more family friendly venue and is also suitable for a get together with friends. The central feature of the living room is the piano.

Meals are available as hampers if you want a break from cooking, with much of the produce from the garden, and can be combined with their wines made from their own grapes. Wine tasting with an antipasto platter on Saturday afternoon is accompanied by much laughter and conversation.

National Park walks, swimming (pool or creek), fishing and wildlife abound.

Hill Station is styled on the opulence of the Orient Express, double spa bath, front and rear deck with superb views of the Border Ranges. Florries Cottage is a delightful 120 year old renovated workers cottage, with double spa bath. Enjoy the sounds and views of Mt Barney Creek and Mt Maroon from the cosy daybed on the verandah. Lakeside Bungalow is a luxury waterfront bungalow with spa bath, day bed on the verandah, a/c and jetty. These three cottages are self contained with all modern conveniences. Garden Cottage, which is our largest cottage sleeps 8 with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms including a spa. Ideal for families or friends to get together. The Rathdowney Visitor Information Centre is located on the Mt Lindesay Highway in Rathdowney. This accredited visitor information centre offers a one stop shop for travel information including maps, brochures, and itineraries. Staffed by skilled and knowledgeable locals, the Rathdowney Visitor Information Centre can provide advice on the things to see, things to do and where to eat. Discuss with the friendly staff your travel plans. The Rathdowney Museum was opened in November 1984. Volunteers from the surrounding districts have put our collection together. There are many displays of artefacts, pictorial displays and historical records of events and family histories.
